|Event Name||Christchurch Urban Restoration Workshop|
|Start Date||7 Jun 2019|
|End Date||7 Jun 2019|
The Christchurch Urban Restoration Workshop is bringing together the brightest minds on Friday 7 June to discuss the many aspects of urban ecological restoration.
This event is co-hosted by BioHeritage Challenge and the urban restoration research programme People, Cities & Nature. Both of these parties are involved with interdisciplinary research and outreach to improve the quality of life, health and economic wellbeing in New Zealand's cities and towns through understanding and enhancing our biological heritage.
This workshop will cover the latest information and ideas across many topics from native birds to urban farming and sustainable business - all without the registration cost of a big conference!
The event will be concluded with a special evening seminar from internationally recognised urban restoration expert, Professor Bruce Clarkson, who will speak about Bringing Indigenous Nature Back into New Zealand's Towns & Cities.
